Driftwood and Plastic Pollution collecting in Ceredigion Wales UK

We use a lot of Driftwood, just one of our 6 foot trees typically uses about 65/70 pieces.
Annually we collect 2500Kg's of driftwood from "Ceredigion's" beaches on the West coast of Wales. Aberystwyth, Llanon, Llanrhystud and Borth are all visited often throughout the year.

Where we collect are all natural catch points, the inclination of the beach to the tide and even the slope of shingle and sand are all important factors as to whether a beach holds what's at sea..
We always find and collect devastating amounts of ocean plastic pollution too.

Each and every piece is carefully recovered by hand and then transported back to our workshop. It is graded and stored by size ready to be used in the next Christmas Tree.

Our workshop is probably the only UK workspace dedicated to just making Driftwood Christmas Trees.

Driftwood Christmas Tree Base with Lathe and Angle Grinder Tooling

We've being developing and improving our Driftwood Trees since 2014 and have custom made tooling to ensure that every tree we make exceeds and surpasses our customers expectations.
This year we have introduced our NEW superior floor safe MDF bases as standard on all our large trees.

Each tree is individually made and then stripped down and packed ready for dispatch.
We're going to be a little vague as to how we manage to reproduce the same gorgeous shape over and over again, except to say that "Alan" used to work as a production engineer and likes things to be, well...engineered.

.... and this is us, doing what any good beach comber worth their salt would do on a day off....hanging out at the beach.

We sincerely hope that you enjoy our trees as much as we enjoy the adventure in making them....
